Sundance Trading Co. is based on an actual business that was located on Hwy. #101 in Garibaldi, Oregon. The business specialized in hardware and tools; however it was not unusual to find anything from Pickling crocks to boat anchors at Sundance for sale.

Sundance acquired most of it's inventory from buying either used or buying out new close-out hardware and tool inventories. They had a reputation for offering well stocked new and used  hardware/tools at tremendous savings.

Unfortunately; on December 1st and 2nd, 2007 after this photo was taken; the prototype sustained heavy structural damage from a stronger than normal wind storm that hit the Oregon Coast. Hurricane force winds partially collapsed the front wall and also damaged the signs, roof and siding. The building was considered a total loss and was later demolished. Sundance Trading has re-opened in a different location; but it's original building is a memory. 

The Sundance Kit used the prototype as a basis for the kit. The kit is Laser Cut including the rafters, doors and windows. The roof is scale corrugated Aluminum with a cast roof vent. All though Sundance was established in 1982; graphics are included that allow you to fit it into any era from 1938 to present.
